Orange County Law Enforcement Explorer Advisor’s Association

Mentoring and inspiring the next generation of law enforcement through collaboration and training

The Orange County Law Enforcement Explorer Advisor’s Association, (OCLEEAA) is a non-profit, membership based organization that is comprised of explorer post advisors from Orange County and surrounding counties throughout California. OCLEEAA was established in 1974. Our purpose is to create a communications network between all law enforcement explorer posts in the area; to keep posts informed of regional and national events involving law enforcement exploring and to assist posts in any manner possible to further law enforcement exploring and benefit the youth of California.

Why Join OCLEEAA?

The Orange County Law Enforcement Explorer Advisor’s Association is one of three advisors associations certified by Learning for Life. OCLEEAA provides assistance & resources to agencies seeking advice on establishing a law enforcement explorer post, hosts regular board meetings where advisors can discuss issues, hosts an annual competition, two explorer academies per year, and more.

Winter Academy

The Orange County Law Enforcement Explorer Advisors’ Association conducts two training academies each year. The winter academy is traditionally held during the Presidents’ Holiday weekend in February. The summer session is generally held in the month of August. The Academy Staff consists of volunteer Law Enforcement Officers and Police Employees from Orange, Los Angeles and Riverside Counties. Instructors are specialists in their field who donate their time to provide instruction to the Explorers. OCLEEAA has sponsored basic academy training since 1974.
